3. Professional Memberships & Further Development
While no governing body officially regulates coaching, teaching, or facilitation, there are professional membership organizations that graduates may choose to join for ethical guidance, community support, and recognition.
Examples in South Africa include:
Graduates can choose to complete the ETDP SETA facilitator training for further professional development as teachers and facilitators. Coaching memberships each have their own criteria, and it is the responsibility of the graduate to apply based on their individual needs and qualifications.
As a training provider, we do our best to ensure our graduates have the necessary knowledge and resources to support their applications, but membership and licensing decisions remain the responsibility of the individual.
4. Scope of Practice & Ethical Considerations
As a graduate of our programs, you may:
✔ Offer personal development coaching, holistic wellness support, and educational training.
✔ Facilitate workshops, private sessions, and group programs based on Heal Your Life® teachings.
✔ Support individuals in navigating emotions, mindset shifts, and self-awareness.
✔ Work independently, within organizations, or in community settings.
⚠ However, you may NOT:
❌ diagnose or treat medical or psychological conditions.
❌ Prescribe medication or provide clinical therapy.
❌ Represent yourself as a psychologist, counsellor, or social worker unless you hold separate credentials in those fields.
To maintain ethical integrity, all graduates must sign and adhere to the Heal Your Life® Code of Ethics and provide a clear disclaimer stating that their services are educational and coaching-based, not medical or psychological interventions.
5. Legal Compliance & International Considerations
