Code of Ethics for Heal Your Life® South Africa Members
As Heal Your Life® licensed members, WE commit to adhering to the following ethical guidelines to promote the well-being of all individuals. We acknowledge and respect the diverse backgrounds of participants, including but not limited to culture, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, race, disability, language, ethnicity, national origin, and socioeconomic status. We affirm that every individual is whole and complete and commit to upholding these principles to ensure a respectful and supportive environment.
Professionalism and Integrity
We will demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, reflecting positively on the Heal Your Life® work and the work of fellow licensed members.
We will honour and value the contributions of our colleagues and foster a supportive and collaborative environment within the Heal Your Life® community.
We will provide the highest quality of teaching, facilitation, and coaching to ensure that participants benefit from a safe, respectful, and empowering experience.
We will take responsibility for maintaining the integrity of our professional actions and uphold ethical conduct in all areas of our practice.
We will handle financial transactions with transparency, fairness, and honesty, ensuring clarity in pricing and agreements.
We will ensure all written correspondence, whether with clients, colleagues, or the public, is professional, clear, and respectful, maintaining the highest standard of communication.
Confidentiality and Referral
We will respect the confidentiality of all personal information shared by participants, disclosing it only with express written permission from the participant or when required by law.
We will promptly refer any participant who requires additional professional services or care to the appropriately qualified resources.
We will provide appropriate follow-up support after the service delivery is complete, either in person or by phone, to assist participants with continued progress.
We will maintain an up-to-date professional referral list, ensuring that participants are connected with the appropriate resources when necessary.
We understand our responsibility to act ethically with confidentiality and always refer participants to the best-suited professionals if needed.
Respect for Boundaries
We will set and maintain clear, appropriate, and culturally sensitive boundaries for any physical contact with attendees, ensuring that all physical touch is consensual, necessary, and respectful.
We will facilitate the Heal Your Life® workshops, lessons, and coaching in a manner that respects each individual’s healing process and empowers them to engage with their personal journey at their own pace.
We will maintain professional boundaries and ensure that our role remains one of guidance and support without becoming personally involved in participants’ lives.
We will remain mindful of our responsibility to preserve professional boundaries and act in the best interest of all participants.
Ethical Service Providers
We will conduct all activities and business in compliance with local laws and regulations.
We will use the Heal Your Life® manual as written and deliver it consistently to preserve the integrity of the work.
We will remain within the boundaries of our certification and ensure that all activities we offer align with the scope of the Heal Your Life® services provided.
We will foster professional alliances and work collaboratively with other licensed members and professionals, respecting their roles and contributions.
We take full accountability for our teaching practices and remain committed to ensuring that our offerings align with the core values of Heal Your Life®.
Marketing and Advertising
We will market the Heal Your Life® services truthfully and accurately, providing realistic information regarding the benefits of attendance and ensuring the clear identification of our qualifications and expertise without exaggerating or making misleading claims.
We will use the approved Heal Your Life® trademarks, logos, and language in all advertising, ensuring consistency with the established brand guidelines to maintain the integrity of the Heal Your Life® brand.
We take responsibility for the way our services are presented and will ensure transparency and accuracy in all marketing communications.
Commitment to Personal and Professional Growth
We will continue our personal and professional development, seeking necessary support to address any issues that may impact our ability to effectively lead lessons, sessions, and workshops.
We will engage in regular self-reflection, evaluating our strengths, limitations, values, and beliefs, and take active steps toward continuous growth and improvement.
We acknowledge our responsibility to ensure that we are always capable of providing the best possible service to our participants and will seek guidance if needed to address personal or professional challenges that may affect our role.
Final Commitment
As Heal Your Life® licensed members, we recognize that our conduct impacts not only our participants but also our colleagues and the wider community. We are committed to conducting ourselves with integrity and professionalism, ensuring that our actions reflect the values of Heal Your Life®. We acknowledge the importance of maintaining our well-being and self-awareness and take responsibility for seeking support when personal or professional challenges arise.
We will remain mindful of the impact that our actions may have on others and will always aim to resolve conflicts or concerns with respect, transparency, and accountability. We hold ourselves accountable for maintaining professional boundaries, integrity, and respect in all interactions.

Complaints and Grievances
If a participant has concerns about the services provided, they can submit a complaint or grievance in writing to connect@healyourlife.co.za. We take all complaints seriously and will address them promptly, ensuring a thorough review and professional resolution.
Our team at Heal Your Life® South Africa will handle complaints fairly and transparently, maintaining confidentiality when necessary. Appropriate action will be taken to address any concerns.
We are committed to cooperating with the resolution process to ensure that participants' concerns are resolved in a way that supports both the individual and the integrity of the Heal Your Life® program.
